It’s impossible not to visit these places in the Riviera Maya, at least once in
a lifetime and it’s equally difficult, once your holiday is over, to go back to every
day’s reality….. you wish you’d never have to leave!

This is exactly what happened to us six years ago: a holiday we had planned like
many others, we visited Mexico, Yucatan Penisula and left Playa del Carmen
as our last stop. We fell in love with its colors and atmosphere, its music and
people, so much so that we decided to come back and start a new life.


“Posada Horafeliz” is a small residence, built in typical Mexican style with a keen
attention to detail, resulting in beautifully spacious and perfectly functional apartments.

You can find us at a mere two blocks from the most beautiful beach in Playa,
(CocoBeach) on the famous “Quinta Avenida” (Fifth Avenue), just a few
steps from downtown.


All apartments are completely furnished: bedroom with king size bed,
fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, bathroom, two balconies, television,
safe deposit box and A/C.
Our garden and spacious rooftop terrace with a beautiful view on the
CaribbeanSea, allows you to chill out on a hammock and enjoy the sea breeze.



We often organize dinners on the terrace with our newly met friends staying
at the Posada: fish or meat barbecues, a glass of wine and the pleasure of your
company, the thousands of lights from the island of Cozumel and sometimes…
a full moon.
